Half the TruthA Poem by ScarlettTheDreamerHe smiles, you smile; he’s weaving you He’s weaving you a precious lie. ‘My darling, my dear, I love you true!’ His words all new, his words all sly.
You harmonize your heart with his You synchronize your thought and wish. Never a love as pure as this Your feelings, all, swish and squish.
One day he says he’ll marry you, Keep you safe, and not let go Before your heart could follow through, The magic, it makes it overflow.
Time sleeps by, as you dream for it Forgetting for once to think it twice. For you’re in love, care not a bit, As long as all the times are nice.
One night comes, like a head for the tail, He speaks not a word to your face. Your tears are out, for your heart is frail, He has it still, and its out of place.
Anger is close, closer is grief, As he lets you go for someone new. Broken trust, broken belief, You put them together, those pieces few.
Time still sleeps, on smiles and cries, Nightmares ride along the day. And just when you cross all these lies, Another Romeo comes your way.
He smiles, you smile, what magic enfolds! You lose your heart, you lose your mind. You don’t look past those blindfolds All your cares are left behind.
But my dear, you never learn That magic is but set to fail! Judge yourself, at every turn Since there’s a head for every tail!

I believe that there's really no meaning to life, and its stupid to go about finding one. One day you're here, one day you're gone. One day .. more..Writing
