Fade Away

Fade Away

A Poem by Saki

Life. Love. Confusion. Truth.

Longing for that one moment
when your world would stop
and everything would make sense.

When there's finally something
that is worth believing in again.

When there is someone who
makes your heart burst with joy and contentment
that you'll turn your back on all the wonders beyond.

When there's those eyes
that could melt you with one glance;
and brings all hope with one smile...

First off, the poem itself was okay. Some minor issues were that the first four words just don't seem to have a point. Why are they there? Are they supposed to describe something? Also, in the third paragraph, the last line's wording is a bit funky. Maybe you should clarify that the person who the love is aimed towards is what make you turn your back on the world, and not the person you turn your back on. Some little punctuation rules you should follow, but all in all, the poem was refreshing and sweet.
