Tell me who it is

Tell me who it is

A Poem by Aki
"

If your smart my dear friend, you'll catch this quickly.

"

You know me better than I know myself sometimes,
And sometimes you point it out for me.
We really haven't been friends for very long,
But I'm not stupid and you can't hide it anymore.
I know, so there's no point in hiding it.
You know I'm slow and oblivious,
Sometimes it takes a little too long.
I think I'm all too sure about this one,
Maybe I'm wrong; making myself look like an a*s.
Somehow, I know I'm right.
You know you're my best friend,
I run to you with everything,
Hiding things from you just isn't easy.
I know this is hard for you,
It's hard on me, too.
This happened not that long ago,
But can you handle another

"I'm flattered," and "I think it's cute"?

I really like the sense of a personal interospection this piece has. The unique flow it takes down the page was truly a pleasure to read.
