"Saga-hime~!" The blonde happily chimed as he walked into the house, holding a light blue basket, though the color seemed completely washed out. Inside was freshly folded, and cleaned bedding. Since he had moved in with the bassist he’d begun to notice little quirks about the other, like the way he folded his laundry, and made the bed. Even the little things he did when he cleaned up the kitchen…All scraps went to Chiko.
"And he wonders why that dog is gaining weight…" Shou thought to himself as he passed the old dog and headed into the bedroom. Bright brown orbs looked around the empty room as he set the basket on the naked bed, his head lulling to the side in the slightest manner.
"Saga-hime..?" He called out again, finally beginning to realize that he hadn’t gotten a response from his beautiful bassist when he called for him the first time. Now, he knew he couldn’t be in any of the rooms he had passed, since the flat was so small…It really wouldn’t have been hard to miss the other, even if he were hiding behind a chair like he had a few weeks after they had hooked up.
"Shou-Kitty," Came Saga’s broken English as he called to his lover from the bathroom, thus making the shorter blonde spin around and smile at him. It faltered quickly as Saga held up the purple box of Vanilla Lilac fabric softener and pointed to it.
"You forgot it when you went to do the laundry." He finished, leaving Shou to take a step back. How could he forget? One of those little ‘quirks’ of Saga’s was that he always used that very fabric softener to wash his bedding.
"Ah…Uh…I’m sorry, Hime.." He said, feeling nervous under Saga’s silent features. He reached into the basket, wanting to avoid as much eye contact he could.
"But, I did...umm…get some new s-softener." He stuttered, turning around back to his lover and holding up a blue box. Saga tilted his head a little, his brows furrowing just a little at the large "SNUGGLE" that was across the box..
"Damn, I hate the English language.." Saga mused to himself before he smiled at Shou and shrugged it off.
"It’s okay, Kitty. Help me make the bed, ne?" He asked, walking over to the basket and pulling out the soft sheets and started making the bed.
Shou was tense throughout the rest of the day, and especially through dinner. He and Saga were never that quiet during a meal…if they even got as far as to eating it. They were usually in the room, or on the couch. Lately his lovers new found spot was the floor.
The night continued to get even stranger as Saga had taken a shower before bed. He usually didn’t, and that was odd in Shou’s perspective. He lay in the bed, in the dark as he listened to the water run in the next room. He stare up at the ceiling, using his hands to prop his head up a little from his pillow and then he let out a long sigh. He couldn’t help but feel that the other was mad at him for forgetting the fabric softener.
"That’s such a stupid reason to be mad.." He grumbled faintly after he had thought about it, letting his eyes close. After a few minutes of arguing with himself, he felt the bed shift beside him and he opened his eyes. His lover snuggled up to him with a smile and damp hair that made goose bumps rise on Shou’s chest and make their way throughout his whole body.
"I didn’t hear you get out of the shower, Hime." The vocalist softly whispered to his lover as his arms held the slender frame securely. He heard a giggle come from the bassist, making him smile and kiss his forehead softly.
"I thought you were asleep until you opened your eyes like Frankenstein." The bassist teased him, making the man beneath him pout. In reward, Saga kissed that pout before resting his head back on his lovers chest and closed his eyes.
"Are you mad at me..?" Asked Shou feeling slightly nervous about his lovers answer.
"Why would I be?" The bassist asked as he sat up, propping himself up on one hand and frowning.
"Because I forgot your favorite softener…" Shou replied, looking up at him almost sadly, yet more guilty than anything.
"Of course I’m not mad, Kitty." He reassured the vocalist and sealed it with a kiss before he snuggled up to Shou again, bringing the blankets up under his chin.
"It reminds me of all the times I spent the night at your place." The slender beauty whispered with his eyes closed, making Shou smile and hold him closer.
"Good night, Hime."
"Good night, Kitty."
