My Lonely Home

My Lonely Home

A Poem by SaitenHazard

No one tells me to clean up my room

No one cares that I own a broken broom

No one notices when I leave the lights on

No one waits for me when I am gone

No one says good morning or even good night

No one holds my hand when I am having a fright

No one takes care of me when I fall ill

No one helps me sort through all my bill

No one makes me dinner when I am home late

No one offers a cup of tea when I am having a bad fate

No one wakes me up when I over sleep

No one asks me to throw away all the junk that I keep

No one snuggles with me when it is cold

No one leaves clothes for me to fold

No one minds if I work over time

No one shares their opinion of the wind chime

No one yells when I break something expensive

No one is there when I need someone apprehensive

No one hugs me tight when I am having a bad day

Welcome to my home, lonely from June to May

Sumptuous language and imagery... your quatrain construction is smooth.

I had to look up 'sumptuous' and 'quatrain' before I actually got your review. :3 thanks.
