Baby, you lost me.

Baby, you lost me.

A Poem by Saint Spooky
"

I think the reason people get lost in thought, is simply because it is unfamiliar territory

"

She likes her sunflowers turned down

I'm standing here in a surgical gown

These scopes and scapulas are her blades

To remove her imbedded crown

She was the jack of all trades

Spending her time in these caves

Praying to God her life decays

And her world goes in and out in and out fades

Her life was never simple, never easy

This love broke her down deeply

How we left her so uneasy

We were the Kings and Queens of promises

Her hate makes us hostages

Her anger makes up our harnesses

And we pull her carriages

These tongue cutting languages

Ravages and Vanishes

We are the real savages

She said to me bitterly

I will wait for you

Endlessly

I'll wait for you so spoke Misery

Author's Note

Saint Spooky
I had this idea, if misery were a girl.
What would she be like?
Other than miserable of course.

Remind me to stay positive. It gave me chills, I swear. Chills.

Good idea, but missing something in the follow up. This has the makings of a good poem with a bit more work.

In the third line, do you mean scalpels? A scalpel is a surgical knife, a scapula is a shoulder blade.
