Half Full

Half Full

A Poem by Saint Spooky

As time passes by the smoke burns my eyes

So f**k the lies and the wonder whys

Too many tries just turn to unlimited cries

Hellos turn into goodbyes that start to rise

To what we know love defies

Not only does it soar it flies

And passes us by

Like a little caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly

But what lives always has to die....

To like or to hate

Just a f*****g mental debate

And stupid useless thoughts to rate

Like opening a gate

That leads to no where and everywhere

And up there and down here

My mind blocked by shield of hair and skull

Go ahead take a stab your knife is dull

Pain is my fuel my fists are my fire

If you wanna fight thats my desire

You are the consumer the buyer

F**k you this situation just got dire!

This is my first attempt at a poem with this sort of rhyming structure.
Yeah, thats what I'd call it.

Well, you succeeded in rhyming. So angry, you are! hahaha
Maybe your frustration about having to structure your thoughts and emotions frustrated you. :P
Interesting ideas and nice flow though. Very well done.

the structure works perfectly with gut wrenching rhythmic poetic scream~
