The PitA Poem by sailorjones7A little poem I wrote describing the engine room I worked in while deployed aboard the USS Boxer.
The whine of the engine
the low rumble of the beast spurred on by its fiery heart and roiling blood of superheated steam here is where you will find Snipe's men ceaseless battle they wage but cannot win blistering waves of oppressive heat here even the strongest will know defeat yet still they fight their endless war smirking as death creeps round' their door
