A Beggar's HeartA Poem by Sailor MoonFirst edit of this. -in memory of what could've been-A cold beer waits In my fridge for you A chair under stars Right here for you too
Look at them shine Brighter than us Our punk rock souls Burning with lust
Oh, please don't leave We've just begun This night can't end Let's have some fun
Just one more time Stay the night I'll ask again Not ready for Goodbye
Get in trouble For me tonight Wake up with me Squinting into light
Pancakes, waffles? You can decide I'd do anything For you, by my side
We'll smoke a blunt And laugh at everything If you'd just ask I'd wear your ring
Carry your sins I'll bear them too The world doesn't know What we can do
Let me love you I can be a mother I'll love you both You'll never need another
I'll love you more Each & every day What do I say- To convince you to stay?
Not quite enough My begging heart To keep you from What tore us apart
That deep last kiss Stay with me forever The way you looked at me Something I'll always treasure
Such a cruel end For a careful man The drunk that killed you Wasn't part of the plan
Why then? Why there? Misfortunes all aligned The night you died My future went blind
I cry for our lovestory That had just begun I cry for your daughter More than anyone
Forever would Never be long enough But for five minutes with you My life, I'd give up © 2015 Sailor MoonReviews
