No... this one... my mind takes this and spins it in a whole bunch of different directions. In simplicity... it might just be an idea that cross the gulf to find a nest. Yet...on the other end of the spectrum... It could be some creature with a symbiotic nature that crawled in through an ear. lol Lots of possibilities! =)
Nice!

Sometimes the things that we let in are positive and sometimes when they come to stay, we wish they would leave but all the doors are locked, so we can't get away. And on the other hand, when we feel shut in without any opportunities, sometimes finding a window, another form of escape, is the only way to handle it. I'm glad it captured your imagination. Thank you! :)
Don't you just hate it when that happens? Brainmice.. Ehw! XD No, seriously, I appreciate the short ones; especially when they're as good as this one. Well done. I wonder, did this entry trip any alarms? ;-)

I need some real criticism if I'm going to get better as a writer. That being said, thanks for the nice response. Haha brainmice really are a bother, unless they happen to be pleasant brainmice (if that's possible? domesticated maybe? helpful like Cinderella's mice? haha). I suppose we shall see if it did bahaha. :3

Douglas Adams had his babble fish but you/we are visited by interdimensional brainmice! I delight in the possibility that you will ply their altar with as yet unimagined offerings; perhaps to share with your readership. :D

Fingers crossed. :P I've been too busy to enjoy the recent inspiration I've received, but those maddening, excitable brainmice feel like they're going to gnaw their way out if I don't release them myself soon.... Haha interdimensional brainmice indeed.

This really played tricks on my mind! I had to read it a few times to it sink. A very rewarding reading experience. Under the appearance of simplicity, there is a lot going on in here! Very original and imaginative! Well done!
