Reunion

“Do you think you can do it?” Danzó asked his hands folded and resting under his chin as he stared at a long blonde haired girl, her hair styled in a long ponytail that stopped at her butt. Wearing a black Konohagakure ANBU outfit waiting for a reply.

She nodded looking over the paper and looked back at him.

“Yes, I can easily sir…” he nodded with a small smile.

“You sure? I mean this is going after that Uchiha, I’m sure I can get someone else to do it if you want…” he said she shook her head.

“No! Please sir, I can do this…” she said looking him at him with her bright blue orbs he sighed but smirked taking the paper.

“I see you are determined to find out more information on that Uchiha boy, you must really care for him if you are going after him…” he said the girl seemed a bit angered but there was a slight hint of sadness overwhelming her.

“Well then, you best be on your way then Good luck…” he said she nodded with a small smile.

 “Thank you sir!” she said taking a bow and then putting on a white mask that resembled a fox with red stripes as the whiskers. She then left the room, the man smiled as the door was closed leaving him alone in the dimmed room that was only lit by the candles.

“Good luck indeed…Shinada Uzumaki…” he mumbled picking the paper back up and staring at it to reveal a picture of Itachi Uchiha.

Shinada’s POV

It had been a few days since my assignment and I had got word from passing through villages of a man with black hair wearing a black cloak with red clouds and red eyes and it led me to here.

It’s been so long, 3 long years to be exact and I’ve trained myself well, by taking time working with Jiraya, Lady Tsunade, Kakashi Sensei, and Yozora Sensei and now I’ve been accepted to the ANBU and I’ve been successful trying to find any information on Orochimaru and Sasuke, after that promise I made to my team that I’d come back with some information on both Orochimaru’s and Sasuke’s whereabouts until my next return and this was my chance, if I question Itachi I might just get something from him. But I shouldn’t get my hopes high and try to get info from him, considering that he could try to kill me.

I spotted him in a secluded area, but he wasn’t alone there was another person with him not his partner I remember seeing when I first met Itachi but instead looked more feminine, but I really couldn’t tell due to the smaller figure wearing a long hooded Akatsuki cloak. ‘Who is this?’ I thought ‘Perhaps a new Akatsuki member?’ I thought hiding behind a tree and quietly watching making sure to not make a sound, even lowering the sound of my breathing. I tried to listen to the conversation but I was far away and the wind was picking up, I growled lowly ‘Damn, can’t hear a word their saying…’ I thought glaring a bit down at them high in the tree. From what I could see was the girl’s back and a bit of her mouth moving looking a bit cautious, Itachi tried to calm her down looking as if he was ensuring her something. I assumed that it was safety perhaps, she nodded and they hugged and he gave her a light kiss on the forehead, seconds later she left. ‘Hm, interesting…’ I thought watching in the direction the girl had left in.

“You can come out now, I know your there…” Itachi called out, I sighed but smiled as I jumped down from the tree and appeared in front of him just a few feet away from him. “Now, who is under that mask?” he asked I smirked under the mask and revealed myself he looked a bit surprised but went back to his cold, emotionless stare.

“So who was that?” I asked

“It’s been awhile no? How long has it been?” he asked I frowned at him ignoring my question but held my composer

“It’s been about 3 years since you last saw of me, Uchiha Itachi” I said staring him down

“So why have you came? Interested in me now?” he asked

“Don’t flatter yourself! I came to you merely for information...” I said giving him a small glare he said nothing but continued to stare at me I sighed “Fine, you want to play hard, I’ll play hard, how about I go and find that girl and get answers out of her?” he flinched a bit making me smirk “Who is she? You never did answer my first question Itachi…A lover?” I ask he smirks

“You will find out yourself, she is headed to the leaf village” he says my eyes lower “Why?” I ask pulling out my Sword thinking she might be undercover and try something on our village, what if it was a planned attack to bring the leaf village to its knees?

“Like I said, you will find out soon enough…” I glare at him ‘He’s toying with me…’ I thought

“And what exactly do you want information on?” he asks

“Like you’ll tell me that easily?” I ask

“Depends, what do you want to know?” he asks taking a step closer

“Orochimaru, where is he now?” I ask he slightly tilts his head

“Orochimaru? And why do you want to know about him?” he asks I say nothing, he chuckles “Oh, you want to know where my brother is don’t you? Are you really that attached to him?” he asks I growl tightening my grip on my Sword

“Shut up!” I yell

“Well sadly, I have no clue where my brother is, so I can’t help you out Shinada” I felt a bit upset; I lost my chance of finding out where he was. He must have seen it on my face

“But I’m sure if you find Kabuto, you will get information on his whereabouts, I heard word of him snooping around the Akatsuki a lot lately, so you might want to keep an eye out…” he said turning away I stood there shocked ‘W-What? Did he just help me?!’ I thought completely surprised

“W-Wait!” I yelled he stopped walking and slightly turned his head to me waiting for me to continue on.

“W-Why are you helping me?!” I asked I could feel him smile

“Because you and I want the same thing for Sasuke…” he said and walked away. I stood there stunned as I fell to my knees dropping my sword as my hands gripped the soft grass tightly ‘what does he mean by that?! What do I want for Sasuke? I don’t even know…’

Yozora’s POV

I felt a change in the wind, something was going to change here in Kohana and it was going to change history

“Who has came to Kohana?” I asked myself out loud with a small smirk as the wind blew my long hair out of my face, I then noticed team 7 walking and talking about, they have reunited once again I smiled reminiscing, team 7 was just like my old team, Naruto reminded me so much of Obito, Sakura like Rin, Sasuke too much like Kakashi and Shinada like myself. I missed Sasuke but there really wasn’t anything I could do but wait until he sees what is right and stop living in the past and live now. I won’t ever forget that news I heard that my entire family was killed, I know why they were killed and it pained me, but I wasn’t going to let that past my judgment of the world, sadly it made Sasuke into what he is today, so much hurt clouded his mind and thinking it was all Itachi’s fault, but in reality it wasn’t.

I pulled my hair into a ponytail and jumped down from the building I stood on to land gracefully on the ground in front of team 7.

 ‘’Hello Team 7, how is your reunion?” I asked Naruto made a goofy smile making me smile, oh how he reminded me of my dead brother.

“Hey ya Yozora Sensei!” he said

“Hello, Ms. Yozora sensei” Sakura said with a bow Kakashi gave me a small nod

“Hello, everyone, where is Shinada? I haven’t seen her…” I muttered they shrugged

“We haven’t seen her either…”Naruto mumbled looking a bit bummed I smirked

“I’m sure she’ll come home sometime soon, she is in the ANBU it takes long hours of your day…” I said sighing thinking about my situation as well, being a corpse hunter Nin, and how annoying and hard the job can be.

 “Oh, yes I see you have yourself a free day?” Kakashi asks eyes never leaving his stupid cursed book, it angered me so much, he knew how much I hated that stupid book yet he still read it. I growled making my way in front of him with a glare; he looked up from his book, confused.

“Still reading that thing huh?” I asked but I noticed that it was a completely new book but from the same series he slowly nodded I could see the nervous smile under that mask along with a nervous laugh as he rubbed the back of his head I smiled a fake threatening smile “Oh? Really….how…” I started, he jolted as he saw an evil aura surround me “…Wonderful...” I say my voice becoming a bit demonic

“W-Wait let me explain! I-It was a present from Naruto!” I then punched him square in the head giving him a huge bump on his head. I sighed turning away from him with arms crossed

“…Pervert, really who buys that crap?!” I muttered. The teens smiled nervously laughing not knowing what to do, but I could read their minds, Naruto was probably scared and thought that I was going to hit him next, while Sakura was probably thinking that Kakashi deserved it…which he did. We were stopped when a figure wearing an Akatsuki cloak stood in front of us, my eyes widen and a gasp escaped my mouth when I noticed who stood in front of me. ‘There is no way…’ I thought.

Girl Akatsuki POV

 

When Itachi sent me to the Leaf village, was it blind faith that I didn’t question why he’s sending me there? To a village that has branded him and Sasuke traitors that I didn’t think that I’m wearing Itachi’s old Akatsuki coat that they might see me as an enemy.

What was I thinking, coming here…

 

As I came up to the leaf village wall I watched the guards that were just inside the gate. They seemed genuinely relaxed. Must be an easy life as a guard…

The village looked peaceful, as I stood on a tree branch overlooking the entire village. I saw a man with white hair and another with blonde enter the village.

I stayed there on the tree tops for a while, watching where I could slink into the village and not cause an uproar.

“Remember, you must locate Yozora of the Uchiha Clan. She will vouch for you.” Itachi’s voice rang through my head.

“Sharingan!” I said softly, I could feel my eyes change. The pain right before the power I could feel from the Sharingan allowing me to see other’s movements throughout the village. Itachi told me my eyes are different from other Sharingan’s. It was because I could see the chakra flows of everyone within 15 miles around me, and locate a certain person within seconds. My Sharingan has qualities of the infamous Byakugan, although not as in depth. I am only able to see the surround areas of things that are filled with chakra, bugs, animals and plants even though they have almost close to no chakra; I am still able to see them.

I saw the chakra of everyone in the village, I couldn’t explain to someone who doesn’t have Sharingan how I’m able to distinguish from each other person and know which clan they’re from. After a few moments of searching each person to see if they were Yozora, I found her. I recognized one of the chakras by her; it was the same as before, the blonde boy who had entered the village not long ago.

I jumped from the tree branch, onto the giant wall, watching the eyes of those around me, allowing me to avoid being seen. My feet making no sound as I jumped from building to building. The sun was setting in the west giving the village a golden glow, which made it seem almost on fire. Ramen filled the air as I jumped above a Raman restaurant. I kept getting closer to Yozora; I was going towards the giant stone heads. That’s when I saw the people surrounding Yozora, a girl no older than me with bright pink hair, the blonde boy who had an obnoxious grin on his face, a different man with white hair; he had a mask on that covered his face, he had a book in one hand and was rubbing his head with his other. And there was Yozora, one of the last of the Uchiha clan her long black hair was tied up into a ponytail, she had on a grey coat that was draped around her at the moment, her arms were hidden but they seemed to be crossed. She had her head tilted up away from the white haired man. The pink haired girl and blonde boy were laughing.

I stood there for a moment, were these the people that Itachi had told me about? A whole bunch of laughing buffoons?

 

It had been many moments before they realized I was there. Yozora saw me first: her look was one of curiosity, to fear and then to shock. I’ve seen how Itachi’s coat and hood makes me look, my face is hidden my shadow, and all that can really be seen are my eyes. My bright red Sharingan eyes.

Yozora was just in shock she brought her hand up to her mouth and watched me. The white haired man immediately jumped into action, he threw kunai at me I dodged, he lifted up his headband which covered one of his eyes, and it was a Sharingan eye. He then advanced to attack me using Taijutsu. I blocked, counter-attacking it push him away but not to hurt him. He wasn’t able to get a single hit on me.

“Yozora get Naruto and Sakura away from here! Tell Tsunade that the Akatsuki are attacking!” the man yelled. Yozora did nothing, she just continued to look at me, it seemed like she knew me. Is that why Itachi said she would stand up for me?

“Keep your hood up, no one can know who you are at the beginning. If they see your face they will realize who you are.” Itachi’s voice rang throw my head as the white haired man swung and pulled on my hood, moving it so part of my face was visible. I jumped back, pulling my hood back to how it was. That’s when I heard the sound of many birds chirping at once, a bright light was coming from the white haired man and he was running towards me. I saw what was about to happen, I had no way of moving. No way of blocking. Sorry Itachi…guess I failed you after all…

 

That’s when a dark figure put themselves between me and the white haired man their arms were wide. “Kakashi, stop it now!” Yozora yelled. He stopped, and I heard the Chidori being unleashed upon the ground.

 “Yozora what are you thinking?! The person is part of the Akatsuki! They’re here to get Naruto! Why are you defending him!” the man named Kakashi yelled.

“Because:” Yozora yelled back “this is one of the last remaining members of my clan. I recognize who this person is. They are not a member of the Akatsuki, although I’m not quite sure how they got this coat. They are not a threat to us.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Trust me Kakashi, I just know.” She turned around and looked at me. “You can trust me.” She told me as she smiled.

I looked at her uneasily; no one smiled at me besides Itachi.

“I was told you would stand up for me.” I told her, my voice seeming to ring in the silence. The blonde boy, Naruto was looking at me weirdly. “And I was told to tell you I am no threat. All I ask is that I talk with your Hokage.”

“Who orders you around?” Yozora asked me.

I said nothing, instead I simply looked down. My Sharingan was still active, I could see Kakashi still tensed ready to attack once more. The pink haired girl; Sakura was tensed as well, her fists flowing with Chakra. Wouldn’t want to get hit with that…

The boy however was incredibly relaxed; he had a massive amount of chakra flowing through him, and at the center of his stomach could only be described as a cork plugging up a dam of power.

Yozora was different, she was tense like she was stressed but she wasn’t getting ready for a battle.

“Fine, I’ll take you to Lady Tsunade.” Yozora said. “Kakashi, bring Sakura and Naruto. I’ll meet you there.” Yozora grabbed my sleeve and jumped towards the Hokage’s building.

“I know who you are…” Yozora said. “Itachi sent me one of his crows, with a picture of you and that I need to keep an eye out for you. Do you know why he sent you here?”

“To help the Leaf Village” I told her.

“And that’s the only reason?” She asked me. I did not answer her. She sighed. “Fine, I understand why you want to keep it a secret. After all, being the sister of both of them…I can understand why you’re being precautious.” I nodded. “What will you do if the Hokage has you thrown out of the village.”

“I’ll go back to him, and then we’ll keep searching on our own.” I told her.

“So not even Itachi can find him huh?”

“We have someone who we’re giving clues to.” That’s when our feet touched the top of the Hokage’s building.

“Come on. It’s this way…” Yozora said waving me towards the door.

We walked through the door down through the hallways, and she opened the double doors.

The first thing I saw was the pig. A pig with pearls around its neck was standing on top of the desk where a busty blonde woman was sitting, this must be Lady Tsunade. The pig was on its hind legs balancing a pole on its nose, on that pole was a huge number of plates and bottles of Sake.

Lady Tsunade was clapping, and her assistant was rubbing her temples as if she had a headache.

Yozora slammed the doors open making the pig drop all of the plates and bottles. Tsunade jumped and fell out of her chair backwards. “Y-Yozora! What the hell do you think you’re doing!?” Tsunade said as she got up, one arm pulling herself up on her desk. Her eyes were only on Yozora, the pig had fallen on its back, and it was drooling. Her assistant was staring at me. Fear was drawn across her face. Yozora saw this and made to step between me and the assistant.

“Shizune, let me explain.” Yozora said her hands were up. Tsunade, now standing and grabbing her green coat from the back of her chair finally saw me as well. She went from a blubbering drunk to an angry and focused warrior in a moment. Her hand was on the back of the chair and she then threw the chair at me.

I saw this, and once the chair hit me I exploded in a mass of crows, the crows landed in the same place as I was before. Yozora was pleading with Tsunade to stop throwing things at me, all of them she missed me by quite a distance. This was when the door exploded open and the same trio that had been with Yozora before came into the room, as well as a man with long white hair. He had a look to him that I didn’t like, he was…creepy. Two elders came in as well. All of the newly arrived members of the leaf village looked ready to fight me once again.

Only one way to stop all of this I suppose.

I took a deep breath and unzipped the coat and pushed the hood of it off. The coat fell to the floor and there I stood. Everyone was just watching me. My long black hair that went to the middle of my back, and the bangs that after looking at a picture of Sasuke were almost exactly alike, blew out behind me becoming their normal mess. I had on the grey weave that provided armor. I wore it as a shirt and shorts as well as knee guards. I had on the simple black shoes. And I had a light black sleeveless almost a short dress over the grey weave, the collar of it was up and it was in a V neck. It only went down to the middle of my thighs, the weave just a little below that, it was up on one side because of the equipment pouch that I had on my right thigh. I had on black gloves with a metal slide over the knuckles. I also had a light brown belt that went around my waist and a light blue on just below that. And Itachi had given me a leaf headband which I wore now; it had no scratches on it.

Please believe me.

“My name is Uchiha Yuki, I am sixteen. I have come here in order to provide my services to the Leaf Village in order to find a certain person that means a lot to me, and the Leaf.” I said, with authority. “I am a Sharingan user, and was trained by Uchiha Itachi. He has taught me everything I know for the past three years. So I know everything.” I looked at the elders. “I am not in league with the Akatsuki, Itachi-kun allowed me to borrow his coat as it was a long journey here.” I could see a strong chakra coming up the stairs and running to here. It was an ANBU ninja. “Before you make judgments on how to deal with my presence, I need to tell you something that has been the Uchiha Clans secret to carry for the past sixteen years-” The doors burst open and even though I was not looking at her I could see her, she was definitely an ANBU, she propelled herself forward and I saw the sword coming for me.

 I don’t have time for this. “-I am Uchiha Sasuke’s twin sister.” I said defiantly, staring at Lady Tsunade.

The ANBU ninja stopped just as her sword was about to hit my back; she was breathing hard. I turned my head at her; she had on a white mask with the image of a red fox face. Her blonde hair was sticking out of its ponytail. She wore a black Konohagakure ANBU outfit, behind her mask I could see her eyes, and they were bright blue. And I couldn’t read her intentions. She seemed to be in shock.

“There is no record of three children born to Fugaka Uchiha and his wife Mikoto.” The Elder woman said.

“Yet here I am.” I said, still looking at the ANBU ninja.

“Tsunade, she is obviously in league with the Akatsuki. You need to-” The Elder man said.

“I will decide what must be done.” Tsunade snapped. “Why do you say that you are Uchiha Sasuke’s twin?”

“It is rare for twins to be born into the Uchiha clan because of our Kekkei Genkai. If twins are created, we devour the other in the womb. Our Kekkei Genkai, the Sharingan creates a link between our twins. I can’t explain the link to you. I don’t fully understand it myself. But I’m able to see flashes of Sasuke’s life every time I sleep.” I told her. “That’s how I know.”

“But you’re also Uchiha Itachi’s sister correct?”

“Yes. But-” I looked at her.

I felt a hand grab the collar of my shirt, and pull me backwards, the ANBU ninja said in my ear: “Are you able to know the exact location of Sasuke?”

“No.” I said back.

“Shinada! Let her go.” Tsunade said to the ANBU ninja, Shinada let me go.

“Lady Tsunade! I recognize her from the mission I just came from. She has been in direct contact with Uchiha Itachi. She cannot be trusted. I believe her in league with the Akatsuki and a threat to Naruto.”

I stayed quiet. Did she see me with Itachi earlier today?

“Yuki has not done anything wrong! And another of the Uchiha clan on our side would benefit us, no?” Yozora said.

“Let me prove myself to you Lady Tsunade. I will not be a burden.” I said, bowing before Lady Tsunade.

She raised her eyebrow at me, “I have reached a decision…”
