Stubborn SproutsA Poem by Sahm Mooreit’s a scary thing. seconds tick by" is it safe to come out? stubborn sprouts with deep roots holding you fast in place. you know the clouds will be there. you think you don’t deserve the rain, but it comes anyway washing away all you fought your way through" gentle and knowing, seeping to your core. take what you need, it’s given freely. when your strength grows you’ll send it back. molecule by molecule your old friend builds, readying to share what’s created between you. the cycle continues, just as it should.
