Love Birds

Love Birds

A Poem by Sahar moonlight

A blue small bird
Looking at the world
With his curious blue eyes
Wondering what it may hold

A blue small bird
Who flies high everyday
Alone but happy
Living his own way

A blue small bird
Lives his freedom enjoyably
Watches 'love birds'
And giggles uncontrollably

A blue small bird
Under the moonlight
Heard a whine
In one endless night

The blue small bird
Lost his heart
With that painfull cry
And searched for what he heard

A green small bird
Drown in tears and fear
Sitting motionless
Desperate for her lost dear

The blue small bird
By trembled wings and smiling face
Held her up
And fell in her place

With a cheerful smile
She kissed him thanks and bye
Believing he's so strong
To fly out so high

He smiled back to her
Hiding his broken wing
And he waved bye, though
Pain is what he's feeling

After she moved away
Silence is what u'd hear
He just loved the feeling
Drowning in her tears

Although....
The green small bird
Would have stayed
With him there

If just....
The blue small bird
Mentioned how much
He purely loved her

But it was never the end

As tears were soaked in the ground

And My small blue bird

Will once again

Fly around

Such a sweet poem! I like the bird metaphor. Birds always seem so free flying and cheerful chirping, and yet, they have to face obstacles, too. Nice to end it on a positve note and leave hope for recovery, I hope it will be as good for your friend.

This is touching Natty. Love birds, are the mirror to humanity, as I adore them deeply and had raised a whole nest of agaporneses. I love this write! !

A nice way to use the birds. I like the flow of thoughts and the ending. Somethings can't be held or capture. A very good ending to a excellent poem.

What a delightful and thoughtful dedication to and for your friend. The words you've laid out with the added fine colours are a woven blanket of warmth which, i'm sure, will be fully appreciated.
