A B C of Heart

A Story by Sahar moonlight

What is the most difficult language? People learn many languages. Some say they know many, some find it hard to learn any.
Language isn't easy. But I wanted to learn the most difficult language.
I was always so confident. And I always thought I have the ability to do what I want. So I wanted to learn the 'most difficult language'.
I wanted a good start. I started with the alphabets.
First letter, second letter, third letter. It began to become tough. But I tried again.
WOW!
I got it. I smiled that wide smile.. a smile that shows my ability.
Within some days I began to get used to the alphabets. I found them so sweet. It works so good. YEAH!!
I knew I can! And that's why I could!!
After few other days I began repeating alphabets.
I became like a parrot. I couldn't stop. I couldn't continue. Alphabets!!!
Whats the need of alphabets if we don't learn to form words? What is the need of alphabets if we can't use them? Alphabets!!!
What if the alphabets sound so melodious? What if you became addicted to the tone? You'll be in a hard situation my friend. You will face what I faced. I wished I never saw these alphabets and never heard.
I couldn't learn the language and I couldn't forget the alphabets neither.
What did I get of learning them? What did I get trying them? What did I get? What was the use of loving, caring , missing , sacrificing, waiting, dying ? Why did I try to learn heart's language? WHY??? I tried. I failed. I was over confident. I was just ............................... .
Good Luck for You.

Well done! I loved the double meaning in it! The first part of the piece was all about languages, but it had the double meaning in life. I adore learning languages. Besides English, I am fluent in ASL (American Sign Language) and Latin, and I am learning Spanish and German. Languages are such a relate-able to everybody, because it is the way we express ourselves. I loved this extended analogy. The ending was especially powerful when you switch it from languages and a metaphorical meaning to the speculated meaning of the heart. Well Done!

P.S. I think this is my favorite out of all of your pieces. :-)
