What kind of music do you like?

Like rap, like rock, like jazz, like soul?

I'm a rock fan but that doesn't mean

That's the only thing in the bowl.

Metal is cool, least I think so

But what about your tastes, my friend?

I'm listening to SOAD now

Now those are some strange, funny men.

I also like some rap, it's true

Though mostly I don't like it much

Most of that field is degraded

I don't like to listen to such.

So the point of this poem is

I've said my piece, now what is yours

What's the kind of music you like?

I would really like to hear more.

Aw, this is cute! I don't really know why, it's not a "cutesy" poem or anything. I think maybe it's because the subject matter is so simple. Like, the poetic version of a simple conversation starter! And that's brilliant!
I like how you said SOAD were strange! lol Cos they are, in an amusing "This music rocks" sort of way~
As for me, I like pretty much everything, except for country and most rap. However, I prefer punk and acoustic! And Japanese metal~
