I'm A 90's Child...

I was born on August 20th, 1995.

I'm A 90's Child

 

I'm certainly a 90's child

In almost every way.

I think of something from that time

Quite nearly every day.

For quite a while Barney was king

I watched it all the time.

The Tellytubbies were my friends

I loved their silly rhymes.

I watched Phantom Menace in awe

The ending made me cry.

I didn't know of Y2K

I didn't think I'd die.

When 2001 rolled around

9/11 came true,

And I, being six, wondered why

The grownups were so blue.

The 2000s have brought much change

And things that are quite cool,

But I'll never forget those times

I was a youthful fool.
