It's Silly

A poem I thought up when thinking about my family.

It's Silly

 

It's silly how we hug and kiss

And how we laugh and play,

But strangely, it never gets old

Through every night and day.

The same old jokes still make us laugh

No matter how they're told,

But when the times get tough we won't

Ever give up or fold.

We stick together all the while

Through times both good and bad,

And we support each other when

Just one of us is sad.

It's silly, but it's true that we

All love each other well.

I'm confident we'll stay that way

Come high water or hell.
