Hopes

A poem about my hopes.

My Hopes

 

I hope for something magical,

A thing that's hard to reach,

Something that needs a touch of fate

Something you cannot teach.

This hope might be hard to attain

But with luck I'll succeed.

However, looking at this goal,

Well, dumb luck is what I'll need.

Although my hope is not so large,

It is no less sincere,

I tell it to my parents in

The hope that they will hear.

I REALLY WANT THAT DRUM ROCKER

FOR ROCK BAND 1 AND 2,

AND IF I DO NOT GET IT, WELL,

I'LL BE SO VERY BLUE!

When I first started reading this I thought I was going to get an inspirational poem about your hopes and dreams...the things you want out of life. The ending really put a smile on my face on this late night.
