Observation

Do we really, really see,

Or do we simply hide?

I think that we deceive ourselves

That life's an easy ride.

There's homeless people in the street

Right now, thousands lay dead.

And somewhere someone knows this and

Lies safely in his bed.

But wait, how else wouid we get through

A day and not break down?

We have to think of the good things

Not those that make us frown.

Sometimes the better part of strength

Is knowing when to lose,

And knowing that you'll do some good

Is what gets us all through.

End.

I love this kind of work. A piece of truth.

But still we are humans. If you and I were in battle and I got shot on both legs, you in only one... does not that mean your leg shouldn't hurt?

It's true and its lovely but we all feel.

I enjoyed your piece. Thank you for sharing :)
