To Fly

To fly would be the greatest joy

Fly to the moon and back again

To fly, I'm sure, would be well liked

By every Dick and Jane and Ben.

To fly would make me feel so free

As I soared high above the streets

And as I flew, people would see

And then the President I'd meet!

He'd ask me what my secret was

But I would not dare say,

For what do you think would happen

If I gave it away?

Then everyone could fly so high

I wouldn't then be rare

But wait a minute, I am selfish!

I'll lay me secret bare.

We'll all be free as birds to fly

We'll soar so high into the sky

And we won't stop to wonder why

All we will do is FLY AND FLY!

End.
