The Halloween PoemA Poem by SagemindA poem about Halloween. The Halloween Poem
Yanking on the boots and coat Putting on the red face paint Gonna be a mad doctor But his friend will be a saint. He steps outside and it's all dark He clutches his new treat bag tight He felt brave back inside his house But now he doesn't like the night. But lured with thoughts of sweet candy He presses on, knocking on doors He fills up his brand new treat bag Soon lugging it around's a chore. He comes to the very last house It's at the dark end of the street And here he starts to wonder if A ghost is what he'll really meet. He knocks on the cobwebbed old door It's answered by a scary ghoul! But then it pulls off its own face And turns out it's old Ms. Abdul.
