I'm sorry my childA Poem by Sage HibouThe mistakes that I made, they overshadow the good, I thought I did what I should, but I guess I misunderstood. Everyday we get to learn, and everyday we get to choose, But rarely do we think about the things we stand to lose. I have had my up's and my downs, my low's and my high's, I'd rather say I'm trying, than to say that I tried. I wish we could go back, and fix our mistakes, Knowing all that I know now, and what is at stake. The decisions we make, can have a lasting effect, And either work out in our favor, or cause us regret. Yet when I make them for us, the one's that are tough, Why we are in the situation is never discussed. I will be the one to blame, I take it, I'll own up. I only hope you'll understand, when you're finally grown up. I'm Sorry.
