Dedicated to my Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Buddy

You've made me smile
since when we first met
on that unlikely day
in the back of our yard.

You looked so cute
with that half closed eye
That cute little smile
and curious nose.

I knew from that day
that we'd always be friends
keeping each other company
and listening whenever we talked.

I know that you'll be
that fun little ball of energy
and the first one to greet me
when I come home.
