Naked Before this Man

Naked Before this Man

A Poem by TheOriginalPsychs

This man that stands before me acknowledges me more than I have ever realized. It’s as if I stand completely nude in his presence, revealing almost everything that I am and everything that I could be. And just when I thought he couldn’t possibly get any closer, he takes another step, shredding away my vulnerabilities. My innocence had been ripped from bare hands and he knows it, he knows most of my wrongdoings, especially those that has wronged him in the worst way imaginable. Yet he still steps closer, trudging through the despair and agony right before my eyes. Close enough for skin to skin contact, close enough to exhibit my own being. And I’m allowing him, I want him to consume me with his soft, deep spoken mouth, eager to feel him glide through every inch of my being. Allow the maple brown to see past the loss of innocence…

Amazing use of description. The emotions honest and direct took the reader to place of need and understanding. It is sad in a lifetime. We will allow a few people to see us bare and true. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
