above the city.

above the city.

A Poem by Safrina

Somehow now, in sublime colours
of someone elses cracks of
teeth, crack

the roots, of somehow- somehow soft talk
is a centred sweet, rooted, sweet sweet

talk is the somehow thread.
Not mine, knitted, somehow

in someone elses shirt.

awww..well, you did an amazing job naming and writing this..your bf is most proud of you..he asked me to relay that..
and OMG epic pic..so perfect a reflection of this piece.
the sleep corresponding w/ the roots
the voices in, say, dreams, for instance, how they're so deeply ingrained in your consciousness and beyond and looping and weaving and wrapping w/ the universal
I love that this was really hard to wrap my brain around at first but it's seed kind of germinated in the back of my mind and I came back to it w/ the clarity from inspiration
and it's funny or ironic or whatever that I feel like i could talk and talk trying to explain what I understand in some undercurrent of thought resonating and rising to the conscious level...
ramble ramble, etc..
