Yellow Teeth

Yellow Teeth

A Poem by Saffin
"

you know who you are

"

You hold yourself upright

Brilliantly white

But scratch to what lies beneath

Hidden truth with yellow teeth

Never too reflective

More a mask deceptive

Wears the truth round neck

Like a pendant kept in check

Usefull but discarded

For the lies in which you're regarded

Keep the blackness inside

For what you built you lied

The picture of blank innocence

Bent to truth in carnal penitence

If smoke still rises then fire

Yet never the brainwashed say liar

Then you are cancer lying beneath

White washed away to your yellow teeth

A fitting analogy for those loathsome beasts who wander the earth wearing a mask.
