I forgive you

I forgive you

A Poem by Aerie-faerie
"

I'm angry at myself for being angry at you, even if I have good reasons.

"
You are a sea of statements that crush my self esteem, surrounded by delicate sands of 'hello, how are you?"

Please forgive me for hating you.

You are a thorn of mistrust, guarded by petals of hopefulness.

I want you to change.

You are lustful with hasty judgement, which you cover with your clam-envious smile.

I wish we had more in common.

You are full of damaging core beliefs, drenched in laughter and probably tea.

I love you anyway.

loving the person for who he is - no judgments - just indignation over the behavior - the essence of love is to forgive, without letting the suspect abuse you
