STRANGE AADAT

STRANGE AADAT

A Poem by Saddam
"

I like it, your strange Aadat.

"

Red lips, Rosy chicks

Light misty eye like a few on petals

Upon them, your Muskurana

It is making me worried

Who will rescue this Zamana.

Glass on your red-rag nose

Always playful, springy pigtail

Your various kind of Baat

Never understood, but listen till the end

I like it, your strange Aadat.

Love for the rain

            Happy even in little serein;

Wander at your Darr

But a smile sweet, then after.

I read it over and over again…it flows very smoothly and elegantly. I liked the indian toucj in it,makes it more endearing and shows a touch of your heart. A very sweet poem. Thanks for sharing.

The mix of two languages gives the poem a really nice pace and makes it seem all the more articulated and well expressed. :)
