THE POET AND ITS VERSE

No legion or religion can hold my vision

Any legislative can’t cease my verse

Born free I am a motion

No language or nation can bind my fluctuation.

I am petals of dear flowers

I have fragrant of sweetness

But I lived it for other

For little happiness

And for world peremptoriness

Your passion for poetry really shows itself here! I am glad you are a person who is not afraid to speak their mind!!

Your poetry is always so powerful; it's hard to find anything to critisize! I think in your last stanza you should pluralize 'others'. I think it makes the stanza flow better. You did an excellent job pairing similar sounding words without necessarily ryhming. It added to the appeal of the way this poem sounds. You also used some rich language here! I had to look up the definition of peremptoriness ( perhaps a sign that Margo needs to expand her vocabulary)! You didn't overdo the language here by any means; just keep in mind that too many big words could distract from the message. Ultimately, a beautifully written poem with a strong personalized message! Many stars for you!

When the pen is prompted to move by the mind behind it, the soul's cry is poured forth.
No dam can hold its flow - a catharsis of mind and spirit - woven in words that compel.
And we are shaken by the truths and half-truths displayed.
