THE NOCTURNAL TREE

THE NOCTURNAL TREE

A Poem by Saddam

THE NOCTURNAL TREE

             -SADDAM HUSEN

A nocturnal big tree

Amazing, laden with flowers and buds

Birds sing and play free

Flowers spread scent, day to nights.

We used to swing at bunches

Specially at evening " with friends

We play “Lukka-Chuppi” around its shades

Sometimes we used to sleep in its end.

Its beauty blaze in sun light

And departed buds came as downy flakes

But one day, some rock heart

Without ponder, cut it down and makes"

A big and beautiful house for human live

Where was no joy, sing, play or friendship.

I like the lesson behind this ... The tree was being enjoyed by so many and then someone cut it down for more useful or grandeur purposes and then it became a dead tree. Perhaps the person that build and owned the house exist but forgot how to live. They live like they never exist and exist but forgot how to lived. Its a dead house indeed...Very poignant portrayal SSADD...

Thank you very much dear friend.
I understand this very well there is places that were once a forests and
are not a forest any more they are homes and I forget where this happened but
when you take away the beauty it is
hard to find that peace but there was a story on television or something
this woman didn't know why there was a bear in her back yard and when homes are built
and the forest is gone they have no home well she called animal control
and the bear was taken to a safe place and the bear and people we're not harmed
but some people can be so dense and dumb if you know what I am saying.

seems this person lives in the world
not enjoying the beauty or trees with out trees we
wouldn't have air most don't know that trees breathe oxygen and
carbon dioxide but they take in the carbon dioxide the gases that we breathe out
Sunshine is very useful for us too.

Trees are necessary for our survival. Through photosynthesis trees produce the gas that we cannot live without: oxygen (O2). As we breathe in, our bodies take in oxygen and when we breathe out, we release carbon dioxide (CO2). Trees do the opposite. They take in CO2 and release O2. This cleans the air by removing harmful CO2 so that people and animals can breathe.

I really love this Nice work I am not a city girl don't
like all that smog and icky smelling air but I am a lady
non the less I am a country girl so being around the beautiful
things god created is much better then the tainted things Man
does to the pure things in the world. Blessings thank you for your Lovely Reviews

The simplest things hold so much memories for us and we become so used to them we believe they will always be there until they are not anymore .

You are welcome :)
This is a beautiful poem. I particularly enjoyed "It's beauty blaze in sunlight/And departed buds came as downy flakes" The imagery that these two lines provides is gorgeous. And "Where was no joy, song, play or friendship." This last line holds so much power; as though the finality of beauty and life of the tree is summed up in it. Thank you for sharing this...I really enjoyed it.
