What if we were us again

What if we were us again

A Poem by SadBones
"

Another poem about ruminating on the past

"

I keep replaying memories of  you and I
To a time that we were us
I tamper with them until they are Ideal
To the point where
failures are expunged from my memory
Until I hear you call my name
Until you love me again
Until what went wrong, is made right
Until the love is back in your eyes
