I don't believe You

I don't believe You

A Poem by Sad Penguin
"

A poem expressing my feelings about Christ.

"

You were never deserving of love
Just a scapegoat
Your feelings are empty
As empty as your existence

Nailed to the cross?
Nailed to my soul
Drown me in fear
Promise to make me whole

I asked you for guidance
I cried to you
I'm getting better on my own
Not because I found a spirit to pray to

I don't pretend to know all the answers
I never will
You were implanted in my head
I've just decided you're not real

it wasn't taken lightly
You just don't make sense
You're more like a fairy tale
Mixed in with suspense

No matter the logic
Someone will always have an answer
To question is to damn
I just don't understand
How someone as "Great" as you
Call this world, a well thought out plan

wow. Nice. Sometimes faith can be hard when that "God" is there but it just feels different.. like you just can't accept something concerning it..
I like the way you written this.. the struggle of faith... and trying to keep hope.
Very fascinating...
