Love at first sight

Love at first sight

A Poem by Sad Penguin
"

I saw a movie recently about a lonely man with nothing in his life falling in love with a dead body. That movie wasn't the best thing in the world, it just inspired me to write this.

"
When they brought you in
Words could not describe

When I Unzipped the bag
Blinded by beauty

I don't care that you're dead
I love you regardless
I talk to you all the time
You heighten my senses

"Rational people" just wouldn't understand
The relationship between a dead woman and a man

Everyday before I go home
I cry a little as I leave you alone

I wonder if you'll think of me
Lord knows I never stop thinking about you

I rush to work with a smile
I burn other bodies while we chat a while

I reassure you as you decay
You're still as beautiful as when we met the first day

As time goes forward
Maggots set in
Its with this that I recite my favorite hymn

I burn your body and crush your bones
I jar your remains and take you home

You'll always be in my heart
You've touched me more than any other
Even though we've never spoken
You've put me in a state
Where feelings have awoken
