Dreaming of the day you become real

Smile for me
Your pale skin blinds
Soft and innocent
Forever on my mind

A blanket of security
An absence of reality
Calling out to fantasy
Shape shifting devilry

A glance from your eyes
Emotionally unstable
My heart beats further
Even though my mind not able

Long flowing dress
Wind carries my regrets

Resetting internally
Blushing unwillingly

Carressed by your silence
A glow of defiance

I try to run
You're still there

I try to scream
You instill that you care

I try to die
You come prepared

I stand frozen
Your hands graze my cheek
I don't understand
My body now weak

You get me
Expressing your thoughts
Fighting against darkness
Seeing through those faults

I hold you tightly
Tears serenade
Snow falls softly
I'm happy you stayed

Our eyes in agreement
Staring deeply
Sharing without words
Time flies eagerly

What is this feeling
Am I still breathing

Embracing your lips with my own
Eyes shocked as feelings are shown
Intently feeling
Happily reborn

Filled with glee
Sensations erupt like magical melodies

Par for the course
So it's been said
I can't wait till you're more
Than the Goddess dancing in my head

Really wonderful piece of poetry here. This was a great read all around. The images conjured up by this poem were evocative and endearing. There's multiple stanzas that really rang clear in my mind, so I can't even pick a favorite one lol All I can say is that I'm glad you shared this, it was a pleasure to read ^^
