Song lyrics written in 1999 for my first CD 'Dreamer'. This poem is about love gone bad, betrayal, and cheating.

My tounge cuts

like razor wire

but i didn't start the fight.

I didn't light the fire.

It seems like you got off

so I hope karma makes a dent,

and one day finds the both of you

in a fatal accident.

 

It's what you get!

When your lies turn into bets

you end up with no dignity

and weltch on all your debts.

 

I hate to be the man

that says I told you so

but I saw it coming from the start,

I even told you that I know.

Now I'll never be able to trust

A single thing you say.

There's a place for people just like you,

but no one wants to go.

I was your everything

but the second things got difficult

you were nowhere to be seen.

You live off me like a parasite

and sucked out what joy I had.

Then you left my corpse to rot

while you jumped onto another man.

I'd like to think of you as Judas

but even he had some feeling.

When he realized what he'd done,

he hung himself from the cieling.

 

I would like to give you

something to hold on to,

and hang myself from somewhere

that I'll make the nightly news,

but with my luck I'd probably

even screw up my noose,

by cutting the rope a bit too long

or tying it too loose.
