Paradox in Time

Paradox in Time

A Poem by SachaTaylor

I can see her in front of me, she is beautiful and weightless.
She is exploring the world.
She is writing, and she’s reading.
Without fear.
The judgment in her mind becomes fleeting through the years.
The freedom of simplicity, leaving her possessions behind.
She is open to spontaneity and laughs hard at every opportunity.
She has respect for her body, and respect for her mind.
She can do anything, she can do everything.
Her expectations high.
She reaches for what’s worthy, and releases what lingers behind.
She will not stand for injustice.
She is charismatic and witty.
She is who I want to become, if I can move past this season of stagnant time.

I actually like this. Short and sweet, but honest.
I like the fact that its easy to read and easy to comprehend.
Good read!! Check out some of mine if you would like.
