Free Love

Love is a universal word

And looking at the science 

We all go through the same thing

Chemicals like dopamine in our brain

Makes us want to dance in the rain

And turns us a little less sane

It's a feeling difficult to explain

At some point or another

Everybody will fall

Although this is the same

Love still feels unique and different to us all

This should unite us

If only everybody could see the beauty 

In this mesmerizing similarity

We could come closer together

Every person deserves to know this feeling

And experience it freely

Without judgement or hate

Without someone saying who they can or can't date

Without restrictions or limitations

This only leads to unhappy lives

Trying to fit in in a premade mold

Only to live up to someone's expectations

Without carrying the heart of the one

You truly want to hold

Just let people be

Let them live free

Allow them to love whoever they desire

If this is what we can acquire

A bit of peace will spread like wildfire

We will become a better human race

And earth will become a better place
