Lost Thoughts

Lost Thoughts

A Poem by Lala

I think about thinking
So many thoughts I have thought
So many of which I have lost
In translation or just gone with the wind
No longer in my possession
No longer available for expression

Some were nonsense
Some were treasures
Some were conscious
Some arrived under pressure
I wonder about these ones
The few that are irretrievable
What a waste when they were erased

A part of me wants them to just be displaced
One day they might come back to me
And no longer be absentee
I just hope that these lost thoughts in my mind
Are not something I'm scared to find
Maybe they had a reason for retreating
And I'm better off without them greeting
But it's useless to try recovering their track
The thoughts I thought are gone
They will probably never come back
I don't know if I should miss them, or not so much
All I know for sure is that we lost touch
Whether there was a reason for their release
To all of my lost thoughts, rest in peace
