Lost Inspiration

Lost Inspiration

A Poem by Lala

There's no lost and found box
For vanished inspiration
No wanted poster to hang up
To find its location
Not knowing where to look
So I've been searching without a destination

The ink in my pen has run dry
The blank pages look cold
I wish I had words to heat them up
But since my inspiration is on hold
I cannot provide a blanket of sentences
Since my inner muse is wearing a blindfold

It's been months since I wrote
I don't know why that is
Finally my pen has sung a note
I wonder how long it will last
Until once again it will have a sore throat
