Moving Star

Night sky

Looked up thinking oh my

Although it is far

I believed I saw a moving star

Not the kind you can wish upon

But one I witnessed for a moment

And next it was gone

Then I realized I was wrong

It wasn't the star slowly moving along

It were the clouds floating by

I laughed thinking oh my

What a faulty perspective

Then I became reflective

Maybe right now that's your atmosphere

Where only your clouds are here

But don't worry you know

It might just take some time

I know eternal darkness is your fear

But one day my dear your sky will be clear 

Because clouds move on

One day they will be gone

So right now you don't see the reality

Of your skies just having a cloudy disguise

What I'm saying aren't lies

What always stayed was that star

Something that you are

Actually the brightest, by far
