My Presence

My Presence

A Poem by Lala

Slipping
Right through your fingers
My perfume lingers
Thinking I'm still here
Until you think about my presence
Until you actually listen
And realize what it really is
Missing

Like your style of writing this and I like the Idea behind it.
Not noticing someone presence at first could have been an act of negligence and the remembrance came when the protagonist seems to be needed but now nowhere to be found.

Beautifully depicted, Sabine.
