Skipping

Skipping

A Poem by Lala

I used to skip rocks
I used to skip school
I used to skip down the street
Now all that kind of skipping
I have long ago began quitting

I used to have a steady heart
Yet every time we meet
My heart skips a beat
And that's the kind of skipping
My body will do until I'm done living
