Different Heaven

Different Heaven

A Poem by Lala

There's comfort in thinking of a heaven
A place where our loved ones are heading
A rendezvous for me and you
To see people we once knew
But what if this special setting
Is not a new place for us to settle
What if the moment we depart
It's a fresh start from everything worldly
All that is earthly you leave behind
Forget everything in your mind
The good, the bad and the ugly
The worst, the sad but also the lovely
With this kind of thinking
Then God would be truly forgiving
For all the sinning during our living
Then the only baggage that you bring
Is your angelic left and right wing
When it's life that we're quitting
With this kind of thought shifting
Then heaven would be a real new beginning
