Things I Shouldn't Have Said Out Loud

Things I Shouldn't Have Said Out Loud

A Poem by Lala

Actions speak louder than words
And there are a few things
I wish I hadn't said out loud

I shouldn't have smiled at you
Or looked back into your eyes
I shouldn't have leaned into your direction
Or answered your affection
I shouldn't have caught my butterflies
Or let our souls harmonize

I wish my body never said
All the things it did to you
Because the language it spoke
Gave me feelings I cannot revoke
