Poems Yet To Write

Poems Yet To Write

A Poem by Lala

So many visions
I think of every minute
So many poems
That are still unfinished
Words are scattered inside my mind
Ones my thoughts have left behind

Some I will remember
Some I will forget
Some I will write
Some I haven't thought of yet

So many poems
I have yet to create
So many thoughts
I have yet to translate
I'll just have to wait and see
To discover what they will be

i really like this poem
it's so relatable
it's a process of spilling out the mind at times
trying to make the randomness
come out coherent
sometimes it's a struggle to find the right words
to extract the phrase from the mind
that will make the piece
i've got pages upon pages in my notebooks
of random phrases and words that
i have no use for as of yet
just a way to keep track of the things
i want to use in a poem one day
i also really love the idea of potential art
you've captured that in this poem
the anticipation of something which
as yet
does not exist
but is in some way imminent
and will come to be soon
it's exciting
great write
again
