Future Child

Future Child

A Poem by Lala

I wish I was a poet
Only for a moment
So I could describe
The impact you had
So I could preserve
The love you deserve
But I'm not that good
With worded imagery
I'm mediocre at best
So if it's okay with you
I hope it will be enough
If I open all the dictionaries
Write every positive word it carries
And tell you when you grow up
My love, you're all of the above
