Judging JudgementA Poem by LalaIn a world without judgement Who would we have been? If it all disappears tomorrow What would that mean? Even God has his own judgment day To determine if in heaven you can stay But what if this would go away? Would lives be lived differently Would actions be acted out willfully Would we do what we wanted to If we knew it didn't contrast another view If it's not judgments we value Would you finally be the real you? This is an interesting debate Nobody is the same We all have our own fate In that there's no shame Unless you play the judgement game Everybody has standards they live by I have some on which I rely But for others these won't apply Judgments are simply a quick trick A way to classify and life we can simplify It's our nature to be assuming Sometimes it's wrong and mistakes are made Because it's the judging cards we played We jump to conclusions And lean on these illusions Judgments determine our fate A world without it is improbable An obstacle we cannot overcome To this problem are no solutions For this you can forever wait Because judging is what we do as humans The only way judgment would not exist Is if we all had understanding in our midst We would not be a judgmental definition Based on competition and facial composition If judgments would no longer be an inhibition I wonder what this would change Would more dreams come true If it's judgments we stop running to? Would happiness be closer in our range If it's judgements we no longer have to go through? With this being said The world I wish to see Is one where I could just be me Where judgments are not the foundation No words needed for a justification No behavior requiring an explanation No deprivation of my real destination To achieve this it's everything I'd give Because only then I can truly live
