Devil's Dilemma

Devil's Dilemma

A Poem by Lala

The devil his business
Is to gather our souls
We know he is malicious
But what if he was ambitious
And kept them in a store
A place where he would sell
The souls of our human shell
What if this is the real hell
To be allowed to look at this shelf
Able to buy a soul not belonging to yourself
What if this is his true agenda
To confront us with a devilish dilemma
If you could walk into this store
Roam around and explore
Would you buy a soul having everything you lack
Or would you still buy your own soul back?
