Blind Vision

Blind Vision

A Poem by Lala

She speaks with words she cannot see
She is different from others yet carefree
Whenever she has a conversation
She hears every pause, every hesitation
She listens without watching you
She enjoys life without enjoying the view
She lacks vision yet she is a visionary
She lacks sight yet she is literary
With her fingers she reads book after book
Flipping the pages without a single look
A visual memory she does not possess
But she reminisces nonetheless
We cannot understand what she sees in her mind
So in her eyes it is us who are blind
