Life is comprised of comparing

What others say, what others are wearing

We listen and we look all around

Instead of focusing on our own sound

Even if you swim against the stream

Thinking you're different is still but a dream

Because you aspire difference you still compare

Listening to opinions yet pretending not to care

So when I think about how people act

I come to the conclusion that it is a fact

That I am me, because of you

And you are you, because of me too
